For ten years I’ve built the front end of agency work — turning design files into production interfaces. My MFA is in Computer Art, so I came to code through visual work rather than computer science, and most of what I do still sits where design decisions become code decisions.
The part I keep coming back to is accessibility and reusable component architecture — interfaces that hold up to a keyboard and a screen reader, built once so they carry across projects. At Sullivan I put that into a WordPress starter theme with a shared accessibility layer — focus management, keyboard-operable components, semantic markup — that became the base for five client sites.
The project I’d point to is Two Sigma‘s corporate site. I led the front end of it for three years at Sullivan, and partway through, a third-party WCAG 2.1 AA audit came in — I worked through the severity-ranked findings with the auditors until the site passed.
Outside client work I build my own projects in React and TypeScript.
